Gillian Wright is an assemblage artist based in Sydney's Inner West.                            Her work incorporates found objects with an element of ‘wings’ creating pieces with a whimsical quality. 

Gillian began her artist journey working in clay and creating ceramic sculptures. This medium, although very satisfying, was not quite right. It wasn’t until she combined her passion for collectables with the humble venetian blind that things started to come together. 

Her passion for foraging and quirky collectables has led her to combining the two, and giving a second life to the separate elements.
